Thermopsis General Information:

Thermopsis are care-free, long-lived perennials for the spring border. Resemble lupines with pea-like flowers. For added interest, flowers are followed with narrow, flattened seed pods.

Thermopsis Plant Care:

Prefers moist, well-drained soils. Slow to emerge in spring. Shear established clumps back by 1/2 after flowering to produce more compact growth. Slow to recover after being disturbed, so division is not recommended. Cut top growth back after being blackened by frost.
