Primula General Information

Primula are delightful in the woodland or shade garden. Flowers begin as tight little buds in the center of wavy cabbage green leaves. The Belarina® Series Primroses are fully double, fragrant jewel-toned blossoms atop crisp crinkly foliage. Adorable! Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Primula Plant Care

Prefers moist, compost-rich soil. Primula will tolerate morning sun with afternoon shade. Can be divided every 2 to 3 years right after bloom or in early fall. Be sure to replant so that the crown is just above soil surface. Cut back by half after blooming to encourage reblooming in fall.
