Large white-as-snow flower clusters cover this compact, trouble-free edger for a sunny site. A tidy cushion of dark green foliage retains its presence throughout the winter. Prune the fading flowers and you may be rewarded with a second bloom cycle.

Iberis General Information

Iberis are low, evergreen mounds that flower in spring. Excellent as an edger, border or any site that has good drainage. Will bloom in part shade as well as in the sun. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Iberis Plant Care

The flowers should be sheared off after blooming ceases and old plants can be cut back to 4" in early spring. Division is seldom necessary since plants form a low shrub when established. Stems may root as they come in contact with the soil. These plantlets can be removed and transplanted. May benefit from winter protection with a light mulch such as pine boughs in areas where there is little snowfall or in areas prone to wind damage. Needs a well-drained site.
