Eupatorium are excellent performers that will tolerate a moist site. Lots of late summer color attractive to butterflies. Eupatorium has recently been reclassified as Eutrochium.
Best in a consistently moist site. Can be cut back by one-half in early summer to produce shorter plants. Benefit from division every 4-5 years in spring or fall. Slow to emerge in spring. Stems and seedheads are attractive in early winter.
Our plants are all grown in plantable fiber pots that grow incredibly vigorous plants, eliminate transplant shock, and are 100% biodegradable. They have tremendous advantages over plastic pots.
