Coral, salmon and peach tones have creamy butter highlights. A favorite, Heirloom award-winning variety, Gipsy Queen, received the RHS Award of Garden Merit. We think this variety would look stunning planted with blue Hyacinths. Hyacinths transition a winter-weary garden to life well before most perennials begin to waken in spring and before it is warm enough to plant annuals. 5 bulbs per bag. Bulb size 15-16 cm.
Hyacinth spring bulbs are best known for their fragrance. For the best effects, plant the bulbs in clusters of 5 or more of one variety. Enjoy this selection throughout the winter from indoor forcing. In zones 9 and 10 Hyacinth bulbs require 12-15 weeks of chilling at temps of 35-50 degrees for bulbs to return each year.
Plant the bulbs in full sun and well-drained soil. Plant 6" apart and 6" deep. Cut foliage to ground after it yellows. Interested in forcing bulbs? Visit our Useful Links page.
