Weigela General Information

Weigela are deciduous shrubs that are very adaptable and easily grown. Prolific, trumpet-shaped flowers on gracefully arching branches. Adored by hummingbirds. Proven Winners® selections are trialed and tested to be colorful, long blooming, carefree and easy to grow. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Weigela Plant Care

Minimal pruning needed. If desired, prune after blooms have faded to shape. Weigela Snippet Lime blooms on old and new wood. If desired, after their first 3-5 years in the ground, Weigela benefit by removing the oldest stems every other year or so.
