Multi-toned Blooms
Rosa Oso Easy Italian Ice creates living art in the garden with sophisticated multi-toned blooms. Orange buds open to reveal petals that blend from soft yellow centers to pink-blushed edges, creating a watercolor effect that transitions subtly as the flowers age. New blooms constantly emerge to maintain the color show. This fragrant, hardy variety combines the delicate color and beauty of a Peace Rose with exceptional disease resistance and easy care. The blooms also make excellent cut flowers, bringing their subtle elegance indoors. 2021 Rose of the Year, Royal National Rose Society Award.

Rosa General Information

The Oso Easy® series is a group of landscape shrub Roses released as Proven Winners® Color Choice® varieties. Developed to be bushy, highly disease-resistant, hardy, and to bloom continuously. The flowers feature single to double layers of petals in red, pink, orange, yellow, and lavender, appearing either as single blooms or clusters. Some varieties produce Rose hips if spent flowers remain on the plant. The plants have glossy green leaves and thorny stems. Some are lightly fragrant and salt tolerant. Perfect for borders, groups, specimens, or containers. Incorporate into cottage, cutting, English, or pollinator themed gardens.

Rosa Plant Care

Plant in rich, well-drained soil in full sun. Fertilize in early spring as soon as ground thaws with a granular fertilizer for Roses / woody plants. A light layer of mulch can be applied to keep weeds down and help soil stay moist, mulch should not touch the stem. Water consistently until established and during dry spells. Blooms on new growth and continuously without deadheading. Minimal pruning needed – if desired, trim back by one-third to one-half in late winter or early spring to large, vigorous buds when new growth emerges on stems. Fall pruning only recommended in warmer climates or where heavy snow loads may be a concern. Give plants enough space for good air flow to keep them healthy and looking their best. Disease resistant and should not need spraying.

Plantable Pots

Our plants are grown in 3.5x3.5x4” plantable pots. Made from 100% biodegradable coconut husk fibers (coir), these pots have tremendous advantages over plastic pots. With better air exchange, this "breathable" pot fosters robust root growth and reduces transplant shock since you can plant the pots directly in the ground. The pot naturally becomes part of the soil on its own over time—no composting required—and since they're made from a renewable resource that requires very little energy, they're earth-friendly too!

We offer a 100% guarantee for all our perennials to reach you in good condition and to grow. If you're not satisfied, we'll reship or refund immediately.
