Prunus General Information

Ornamental Cherry are great additions to any landscape and sized perfectly for smaller gardens. Flowers brighten our 1st spring days. A free-flowering deciduous shrub with a natural columnar branching habit, very showy! Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Prunus Plant Care

Best grown in moist, organically rich, well-drained soils in full sun. Tolerates part shade, but best flowering and leaf color generally occur in full sun. Blooms on old wood. If pruning is desired, do so immediately after flowering. Plant with some protection from strong wind and early frosts. Prefers well-drained soil.
