Primula General Information:

Primula are delightful in the woodland or shade garden. Flowers begin as tight little buds in the center of wavy cabbage green leaves and magically rise on slender stems.

Primula Plant Care:

Prefers moist, compost-rich soil. Primula may benefit from afternoon shade in hot summers. Can be divided every 2- 3 years right after bloom or in early fall. Be sure to replant crown just above soil surface. Cut back to 1/2 after blooming to encourage reblooms in fall.
