Muhlenbergia General Information:

Muhlenbergia are clump-forming grasses. Stems begin to arch outward as summer progresses producing a weeping habit. Narrow purple to yellow spikes rise above the foliage in September/October. Foliage turns buff colored in fall.

Muhlenbergia Plant Care:

Tolerant of drought, heat and poor soils. Can be divided in spring. Does not produce runners. If desired, shear in late winter before new spring growth appears. Requires well-drained soil to survive wet winters.
