Rapidly Spreading Ground Cover
A giant for this species, it parades more vigorous flowering with huskier blooms. This charmer still maintains the petite stature of Dwarf Crested Iris. Soft lavender-blue 3 wide flowers with golden crests provide a carpet of color each spring. Does best in some shade. Iris Powder Blue Giant will readily spread by branching rhizomes to form colonies of small sword-shaped leaves after the mid to late spring blooms have faded. A pleasing ground cover.
