Eupatorium are great perennials to add stature to the back of the border without ever needing to be staked. An excellent performer that will tolerate a moist site. Lots of late summer color attractive to butterflies. Eupatorium has recently been reclassified to Eutrochium.
Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho
at this time.
Best in a consistently moist site. Benefits from division every 4-5 years in spring or fall. Slow to emerge in spring. Stems and seedheads are attractive in early winter.
