A Celebration of Pink
Petals emerge soft pink, the shade of a frosty glass of pink lemonade, then mature to shades of darker rose. Glowing yellow radiates like a halo around the button centers. Novice and seasoned gardeners alike appreciate this undemanding beauty. Coreopsis Shades of Rose from the Permathreadô Series bred by Darrell Probst exhibits floriferous blooming all summer long. Pollinator friendly, deer resistant, songbirds love to peck at the dried seedheads and they are quite drought and humidity tolerant once established. With the ever-expanding color choices on the market, Coreopsis can be used in just about any garden color scheme.

Coreopsis General Information

Bright and cheery selections will attract butterflies and birds to your garden. Coreopsis are great cut flowers that last up to 2 weeks after being harvested. Superb in the border-reliable. Just give them some sun and enjoy the show. Coreopsis naturalize with ease. Cold hardy, floriferous and easy to grow. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Coreopsis Plant Care

Of the easiest care, likes a hot dry spot. Deadheading (removing spent blossoms) extends blooming, so pick a few for cut flowers while you are in the garden. Leave new fall growth at the base for overwintering. Benefits from division every 2-3 years in spring.

Plantable Pots

Our plants are grown in 3.5x3.5x4” plantable pots. Made from 100% biodegradable coconut husk fibers (coir), these pots have tremendous advantages over plastic pots. With better air exchange, this "breathable" pot fosters robust root growth and reduces transplant shock since you can plant the pots directly in the ground. The pot naturally becomes part of the soil on its own over time—no composting required—and since they're made from a renewable resource that requires very little energy, they're earth-friendly too!

100% Guarantee

We offer a 100% unconditional guarantee for all our perennials to reach you in good condition and to grow. If you're not satisfied, we'll reship or refund immediately. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions or concerns—we share your passion for gardening and want your new plants to thrive in your border!
