Campanula General Information

Campanula glomerata does well in most soils as long as it is well-drained. Sun to part shade. Campanula are versatile perennials that provide a wide range of colors, shapes and uses. Many varieties offer long bloom time and easy care, while others feature some of the best blues and deepest purples in the perennial world. Spikes, globes, carpets-Campanula offer many pleasing forms. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Campanula Plant Care

Removing spent flowers stalks will encourage rebloom and discourage seeding (if not wanted). Leave any new fall foliage at the base to overwinter. Can divide every 3-4 years in the spring or fall. Tolerant of alkaline soils.
