Multiple stalks of lavender pink.
"Large clusters of lavender pink flowers are held aloft by lance shaped, lightly toothed deep green foliage. Different from most other catmints in that large flower clusters crown multiple stalks, leaves are larger, and a moist site is preferred. Nepeta General Information

Nepeta are smothered with blossoms in summer. Subsessilis are native to the mountain slopes of Japan and different than most Catmints in that they prefer a moist site. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Nepeta Plant Care

"Long blooming, but spent flowers can be sheared off to promote rebloom and/or improve appearance. Cut back by 2/3 in July to promote reblooming in August to end of summer. Cut back in early spring to 4-6"". Can be divided every 3 - 4 years in spring."

Plantable Pots

Our plants are grown in 3.5x3.5x4” plantable pots. Made from 100% biodegradable coconut husk fibers (coir), these pots have tremendous advantages over plastic pots. With better air exchange, this "breathable" pot fosters robust root growth and reduces transplant shock since you can plant the pots directly in the ground. The pot naturally becomes part of the soil on its own over time—no composting required—and since they're made from a renewable resource that requires very little energy, they're earth-friendly too!
