Huge soft lemon flowers can reach 3-5" across. Chrysanthemum Sunshine is a wonderful addition to Shasta Daisies. Yellow coloration is most pronounced on young blossoms, maturing to a buttery white. Avoid full afternoon sun for best coloration.

Chrysanthemum General Information:

Shasta daisies are unsurpassed in the border and for cutting. Cheerful flowers late spring to midsummer. Combines easily with their neighbors. Whatever the color combination, put a shasta between them and it works! Also known as Leucanthemum superbum.

Chrysanthemum Plant Care:

Give them a sunny spot and a balanced plant food in the spring and again when buds form for healthy, showy plants. Remove flowers as they fade to promote further bloom. Give these plenty of space since they don't like to be crowded. Can be divided every 2-3 years in spring or fall. To prevent potential flopping, cut back by one-third in midspring or install plant supports. Good winter drainage is essential.
