# Ajuga / Carpet Bugle

> Ajuga's lush waxy foliage, offered in several shades, hugs the soil resisting weeds to form a dense groundcover. Shorter flower spikes, up to 5", blanket the plants in May and June. Carpet Bugle is an extremely hardy perennial—it can be walked on, mowed over and generally abused. Autumn leaves are also easily raked off its dense foliage.
