Showy stamens dance above the dainty soft pink flowers. Geranium Dalmaticum has glossy green fragrant foliage. In fall the leaves transform to red-orange and burgundy tones. Slowly spreads to form a dense mat.

Geranium General Information:

Perennial Geranium are always a favorite for its excellent mounding habit and late spring to summer bloom time. Lovely foliage complements the flowers well. Many of the flowers exhibit interesting veining. Geranium dalmaticum prefers a well drained moist soil. Avoid soggy soils. Benefits from some shade in hot conditions.

Geranium Plant Care:

Snip off spent flowering stems at the base or shear tops back to new growth to stimulate rebloom and freshen foliage. Generally does not need division but can be divided in spring or fall if desired.
