Dicentra General Information:

Dicentra Burning Hearts are the result of a planned cross between Dicentra peregrina rubra and Dicentra eximia yielding improved vigor, more flowers, and a longer flowering period. Dicentra are perfect for a shady spot and will start blooming in the cool of spring.

Dicentra Plant Care:

Requires high-organic, well-drained soil. After all flowers fade on flowerscapes, cut flower stems down to basal foliage-this can prolong bloom into fall. Can cut back for the winter after a killing frost.
