Rich emerald evergreen glossy needles provide soft contrast and lacy texture on gently arching prostrate branches. Japanese Plum Yew will tolerate sun, shade and deer. Handsome and mannerly!

Lime-green growth in spring contrasts beautifully with the mature dark-green foliage. C. Fritz Huber adapts well for container use, ground cover, borders and small hedges.

Cephalotaxus General Information:

Cephalotaxus are evergreen and deer resistant. Tends to be slow growing but worth the wait! Can tolerate full sun in milder settings, but needs full to part shade in hot climates and will tolerate the heat and humidity of the deep south with a shady location. Drought tolerant once established.

Cephalotaxus Plant Care:

Cephalotaxus require minimal pruning if desired. Moist, well-drained soil is necessary until it becomes well established. Good drainage is a must!
