Caryopteris General Information

Caryopteris are covered with clusters of delicate blue flowers from late summer until frost. Provides hard-to-find midsummer color. Attractive to butterflies and works well in containers. Good drought tolerance reported.

Caryopteris Plant Care

Caryopteris bloom on current season's growth, so prune hard in early spring after leaves appear to remove dead growth, promote new blooms and control size and shape. May self sow lightly. Rooted stems may be separated from parent and transplanted in spring. Avoid wet soils.
