Belamcanda General Information:

Belamcanda are tropical-like flowers in the summer that age to an ornamental seed pod which dries nicely for arrangements. Clusters of blackberry like ornamental seed pods add winter interest.

Belamcanda Plant Care:

Will tolerate drought and poor soils. Likes full sun and well-drained soil. Detests wet in winter, otherwise carefree. Divide every 2-3 years in spring or summer to maintain vigor and prevent sprawl. Will self sow readily and seedlings will replace parent plant in a year or two. North of zone 5, winter mulch can improve odds of overwintering.
