Aster General Information:
Novi-belgii Asters are native to the United States and often seen growing in moist marsh-like conditions. Asters are invaluable in the hardy border, adding superb color in the autumn. Very durable and long lived. Even heavy, wet soils will suit them; however, requires well-drained soil to overwinter. Richer soils will generally yield taller plants. Mounds of color begin in September, in a full range of colors. Asters support bees and butterflies right up until season's end.
