Rosettes of thick evergreen leaves. Flowers of unusual colors which run to purples, greens and near brown are produced on 6" stems. More tolerant of summer dryness than most Primulas. Flowers can be cut.

General Information:
Slope tolerant, plant with crown at soil level.

Plant Care:
Prefers moist, compost-rich soil. May benefit from afternoon shade in hot summers. Can be divided every 2- 3 years right after bloom or in early fall. Be sure to replant crown just above soil surface. Cut back to 1/2 after blooming to encourage reblooms in fall.
