General Information:
Flowers open with the new day. Spikes of cup-shaped flowers throughout the summer. Prefers a sunny site with good drainage. Avoid wet feet. Good for hot dry spots, Best selections for the coldest areas (zones 3&4), Not for Gulf states.
Plant Care:
This trouble free plant is tolerant of poor, dry soil and self sows readily. After flowering, can be sheared back by 1/3 and shaped for nice forms in the garden. Can be divided in spring or fall every 4 - 5 years or as needed to control spread.
