HYDRANGEA Pink Diamond - Tall 6' - plant 8-10' apart - zone 3-8. Flowers well in light shade. An improvement over the standard Pee Gee in form, color, and length of bloom time. Flowers are white in summer, slowly deepening to pink and then to a rich deep pink through fall. Does not flop. Large pots. HYPDP

General Information
Widely adaptable and popular, the paniculatas are very hardy. Blooming on new wood, they are unaffected by frost.

Plant Care
Can be left untouched, or previous year's wood can be pruned back to leave only two buds at the base of each stem in very early spring. Pruning in this way encourages large panicles.
