General Information
“Queen of the climbers.” Clematis are prized for their incredible flowers, most as large as your hand. Will train onto trellises, fences, or arch over doorways. Only needs to have its roots shaded and its flowers in the sun. Stunning when used alone or when several colors are mixed. Pruning instructions can be found on our website. Sold in 2½" pots. Zones 4-10.

Plant Care
Pruning Type 1 - Flowers are produced from old stems, so pruning is done immediately after flowering has stopped. Prune by removing all dead and weak stems immediately after flowering. Larger, older plants (over 15') are normally not pruned, especially if growing in trees. Tie stems into place after flowering. New growth will begin, and these are the stems for next year's flowers.
