Deep green foliage stands upright, arching slightly. Interesting flat tan seed heads rise above and remind one of wheat weavings. Provides excellent winter interest. Native N. American grass. Salt tolerant. Self sows in moist soils, but seedlings are easy to scratch out.

General Information:
Deer resistant; quite shade tolerant. Seed heads are fascinating, especially for winter interest. Ornamental grasses cannot be shipped to Oregon, sorry.
Plant Care:
Give it a good haircut to 6-10" in spring. Remove any old debris at that time as well. Easy to start from seed, or clumps can be divided between mid spring and early summer.
