General Information
Thick glossy rich green leaves are evergreen and plants will slowly expand to make a great groundcover. Leaves take on a deep red cast in fall as temperatures drop for an eye-catching display. Spring flowers are held on stiff stems from March to May over 6" foliage. Will need shade in warmer zones. Fine in moist sites. A good performer in sites where other plants refuse to grow.
