ASPERULA Odorata - Sweet Woodruff - Short 6" - Plant 8" apart - Foliage forms whorls shaped like miniature parasols. White fragrant flowers in May. Good ground cover for shade, even where only moss will grow. Dried foliage is fragrant and has been used to flavor wines. ASODS.
General Information
A favorite groundcover, particularly suited to shady sites under pines. Deer resistant, and fragrant. Leaf shape adds interest. Plant Care Slow consistent spread. Not evergreen in north, but is last to leave and first to show. |
