General Information:
A favorite groundcover, particularly suited to shady sites under pines. Deer resistant, and fragrant. Leaf shape adds interest.
Plant Care:
Slow consistent spread. Not evergreen in north, but is last to leave and first to show. Divide the creeping root system in spring or early summer after flowering. Spent foliage can be cut back after flowering and new growth will appear at the base of the plant. May need to water during drought conditions.
