ASTER Frikartii - Wonder of Staffa - Medium - Plant 20" apart zone 5-8. An unusual plant. Rapidly developing into an airy mound as broad as it is tall, as much as 3' by 3' in rich soil. Covered with lavender-blue daisy flowers with a yellow center from July until a hard freeze. Normally not for extreme northern gardens, but worth a try with dependable snow cover. This is a plant we have propaged for years, and is comparable in every way to "Monch" . ASFRP
