Aster Eventide sports an eye-catching explosion of dark blue flowers with a cheery yellow center. Invaluable in the hardy border, adding superb color in the autumn. The clusters of semi-double blue flowers are produced at the tips of branching stems and create a stunning display against the dark green foliage. Very durable, long lasting and a butterfly favorite. Pairs nicely with grasses.

General Information:
Asters are invaluable in the hardy border, adding superb color in the autumn. Very durable and long lived. Not fussy as to soil type. Richer soils will generally yield taller plants. Mounds of color beginning in September, in a full range of colors.
Plant Care:
Pinch back and divide like mums for best display. General rule of thumb is to pinch until 4th of July and not after. Pinching yields better branching and more flowers. Can be divided every 2-3 years in spring. Avoid wet overwintering conditions.
