General Information:

Salvia are excellent, easy-to-grow plants for a summer show of intense color. Salvia perform best in full sun. A real heat lover; they respond well to sheering after blooming to prompt fresh foliage and blooms.

Plant Care:

If desired, cut back and pot up several plants in fall or take cuttings in late summer for over wintering in a bright but cool sunny window. Plants grown in protected locations with winter mulch may survive mild winters in Zones 6-7. Likes a humus rich, well-drained soil.
