Cultural and Growing Info is provided below.

Attractive Vertical Accent
With its irresistible texture, the soft fern-like foliage is perfect for framing entrances or anywhere a vertical accent is needed. Branching is dense and full all the way to the ground. Low seeding. Did we mention it is deer resistant too? Deciduous foliage turns yellow in fall. Rhamnus Fine Line® is a versatile exotic-looking shrub - easy to grow. Fantastic for hedges, screens, containers, entrances or even a beautiful contrast against hardscapes. Fern-leaf Buckthorn is quite cold hardy. The fine stems with its textured foliage are a beautiful filler for bouquets and arrangements. This cultivar produces very little fruit and among those, only 2% are viable. This stunning variety is an environmentally friendly replacement for older varieties.

Rhamnus General Information

Fine Line Buckthorn is a tough, adaptable plant quite cold hardy. The narrow leaves give a fine, feathery appearance. PLEASE NOTE: Fine Line® Rhamnus is restricted and cannot be shipped to the state(s) of CT, IA IL, MA, ME, MN, NH, NY and VT. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Rhamnus Plant Care

Very adaptable, prefers well-drained soil. No pruning is usually required but may be pruned in late fall to remove dead or broken branches. Though it tolerates dry conditions once established, it looks and performs best with average moisture. If desired, fertilize in early spring with a granular rose or garden fertilizer.
