General Information:
Pulmonaria are fabulous shade plants with semi-evergreen foliage which remains attractive as long as the are provided with adequate moisture throughout the summer. Mounding habit will spread out to make a beautiful foliage display without being aggressive. Works well under deciduous trees and along woodland pathways. Excellent with bulbs.
Plant Care:
Prefers compost rich well drained soil. Pulmonaria may become dormant in extended dry spells. Early spring cleanup before flowering begins. Can be divided every 4 - 6 years right after flowering in late summer or early autumn. Can shear tired foliage in midsummer for a flush of new growth.
