Blanketed in white florets with a yellow eye, Bruces White Phlox is an attractive shade grower, either alone or as a groundcover. The plants spread laterally along the ground with masses of carefree flowers on short erect stems. Stolonifera Phlox was Awarded Perennial Plant Association Plant of the Year in 1990.

Phlox General Information:

Phlox stolonifera are an attractive woodland groundcover, alone or in mass. The plants grow out laterally along the ground with flowers in May on short erect stems with light green leaves. Select a location that is not always wet, or does not dry out completely, and you will enjoy masses of carefree flowers. Fragrant, best selection for the coldest areas. (zones 3 & 4).

Phlox Plant Care:

Trim back after flowering to the low green foliage for lush new growth. Do not prune in fall, clean-up winter damage in spring.
