General Information:
Phlox subulata are low-growing, showy plants suitable for cascading over walls or down a slope. Spreads rapidly to cover any open sunny spot. In rich soil, as much as 2' across, completely covered with flowers in mid-spring. Prefers sandy soil.
Plant Care:
No special care needed. Can be trimmed back after flowering to the low green foliage if lush new growth is needed. No need to prune in fall, clean-up winter damage in spring.
