Early blooming flower panicles transform from creamy white, to pink, with a grand finale of deep red in the fall. This bonus of three seasons of bloom from this shrub is topped off by the wide adaptability of the paniculata species. Best with a good shot of morning sun.

Paniculata are the most cold hardy-a native of Asia. Stiff upright branches never get floppy. Flowers are more cone-shaped than ball-like. Can be pruned anytime except when they are forming flower heads in summer. Can also be shaped into tree form.
