Charming double ruffled pastel colored flowers adorn the bushy, compact plants with sturdy stems. Shorter than their taller cousins, these varieties can fit gracefully into any garden plan. Blooms its first year. This Hollyhock is appropriately named – it is sure to become quite a "Celebrity" in your garden.

General Information:
Hollyhock are perhaps the definitive old-fashioned garden plant. Flowering from late spring through summer. Spring Celebrities series is a multi-use plant that can be grown as a cut flower, used in large containers or planted in the landscape. Rust can be a problem in high humidity. Best selection for the coldest areas (zones 3 & 4), not for the gulf states.
Plant Care:
Although biennial, allow seeds to fall and the clump will persist for many many years. May need staking. Rust (little orange dots on the leaves) can be a problem in high humidity and can be treated with a copper based fungicide.
