General Information:
Hollyhock are perhaps the definitive old-fashioned garden plant. Flowering from late spring through summer. Spring Celebrities series is a multi-use plant that can be grown as a cut flower, used in large containers or planted in the landscape. Rust can be a problem in high humidity. Best selection for the coldest areas (zones 3 & 4), not for the gulf states.
Plant Care:
Although biennial, allow seeds to fall and the clump will persist for many many years. May need staking. Rust (little orange dots on the leaves) can be a problem in high humidity and can be treated with a copper based fungicide.
