Features to Note:
- Winter Interest
- For a sunny spot
- For a shady spot
General Information:
Hakonechloa are best ornamental grass choice for shade. Likes a moist humusy soil, and good drainage. Offers Oriental appeal to mixed beds providing great highlights for the shady garden. Ornamental grasses cannot be shipped to Oregon, sorry.
Plant Care:
Since golden hakone grass is a slow grower, it will not be necessary to divide for many years. If division is desired it should be done in the spring as new growth develops.
