2008 PPA Plant of the Year
Has received top ratings in trials everywhere! Does not set seed; therefore, extremely long blooming - even through the heat of August and into October. Mounded, slightly marbled foliage turns attractively red in fall. Geranium Rozanne is very heat tolerant. Flowers are deeper blue (see note in General Info). With moist organic soil, G. Rozanne will spread to fill in - otherwise not aggressive. A Blooms of Bressingham variety selected for outstanding qualities, reliable growing performance and stunning beauty.

Geranium General Information

Perennial Geranium are always a favorite for its excellent mounding habit and late spring to summer bloom time. Lovely foliage complements the flowers well. Many of the flowers exhibit interesting veining. Geranium Rozanne prefers compost-enriched soil that stays moist. Easy to grow clump-forming geranium. *Note* Several people have reported that flower color can be "off" as the plant re-acclimates to a new setting. The blue color should reliably appear on new growth. Idaho has restricted all potted plant material from being shipped into Idaho at this time.

Geranium Plant Care

Prefers compost-enriched soil that stays moist. Snip off spent flowering stems at the base or shear tops back to new growth to stimulate rebloom and freshen foliage. Generally does not need division but can be divided in spring or fall if desired.

Plantable Pots

Our plants are grown in 3.5x3.5x4” plantable pots. Made from 100% biodegradable coconut husk fibers (coir), these pots have tremendous advantages over plastic pots. With better air exchange, this "breathable" pot fosters robust root growth and reduces transplant shock since you can plant the pots directly in the ground. The pot naturally becomes part of the soil on its own over time—no composting required—and since they're made from a renewable resource that requires very little energy, they're earth-friendly too!

100% Guarantee

We offer a 100% unconditional guarantee for all our perennials to reach you in good condition and to grow. If you're not satisfied, we'll reship or refund immediately. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions or concerns—we share your passion for gardening and want your new plants to thrive in your border!
