Festuca are charming dwarf ornamental grasses which perfer dry to medium soils. Best color is attained in full sun but will tolerate light shade. Ornamental grasses are restricted from Oregon.
In spring cut back to 3-4 if needed. Division should be done in spring every 2-3 years to keep blue fescue at its best.
