Eryngium are thistle-like flowers that blanket spiny foliage. Great for cut flowers, also dry beautifully. Salt tolerant.
Loves a sandy, well drained site - tolerates drought and neglect in hot dry spells. A long taproot makes it difficult to move or divide this plant, but can be done in spring if necessary. Plants will be slow to recover.
Our plants are all grown in plantable fiber pots that grow incredibly vigorous plants, eliminate transplant shock, and are 100% biodegradable. They have tremendous advantages over plastic pots.
