Dark Blue Delphinium blooms are rich blue with white highlights on showy spikes of semi-double flowers. Flowers develop on sturdy stems from vigorous mounds of rich green foliage. Pronounced vertical habit adds interest to mixed beds and borders. Exceptional cut flowers.

General Information:
Delphinium are elegant and exquisite with colorful flower spikes that add a majestic touch to your garden. The taller varieties such as Giant Pacific Hybrids will require staking, others do not. They make exceptional cut flowers and will attract hummingbirds.
Plant Care:
As with most delphiniums, a moist, rich soil is needed and regular feeding and watering are recommended. Lanky or bent stems can be cut back by one half to force new growth at the base. As with Digitalis and Lupines, cut off most faded flowers so they do not exhaust themselves in seed production. Allow some self seeding to ensure future generations.
