Very fragrant late summer bloomer for the shade. Tall stately wands of white spires are held above the near black foliage and waft their fragrance in the breeze. Bronze foliage of Cimicifuga Brunette is best in a spot that is consistently moist.

General Information:
Cimicifuga are grown for their dramatic stature and impressive blooms. Finely cut fern-like foliage makes a perfect backdrop for the late summer spires of fragrant flowers. Prefers a consistently moist site. Extremely hardy. Cimicifugas are low maintenance plants.
Plant Care:
Needs deep soil which is well drained. Seedheads provide winter interest, so it's nice to leave them standing. Division is rarely needed as once established, plants can remain undisturbed indefinitely.
