Lime-green double pom-pom flowers that nod above the standard blue-green foliage. Spurless blooms eventually turn to a pure white. A striking new Columbine, Lime Sorbet has good sized flowers that will illuminate a special corner in your garden.
General Information:
Aquilegia are as much a part of spring as daffodils. Some have long spurs that project out behind the blossoms-others are spur-less with double blossoms. All self-sow without being annoying. Will yield interesting hybrids if others are close by to cross pollinate.
Plant Care:
Little care needed. Leave fall basal growth to over-winter. Divide in summer if desired, not usually required since plant self seeds. If you want to prevent seeding and cross pollinating, remove spent flowering stems. Aging or damaged foliage can be completely cut back to level of new growth.
