Cheerful yellow orange faces of Marguerite Daisies grace ferny grey-green foliage to form a bushy mound. Blooms well throughout the summer making it a valuable member for your garden. A good attraction for birds, bees, and butterflies.
General Information:
Anthemis are free flowering to provide an abundance of daises all summer and fall. The foliage is elegantly cut. Avoid heavier soils for these pest-free plants. Self-sown seedlings are a good source of new plants. Relatively drought tolerant, and adapts well to poor soils. Removing faded flowers regularly will greatly increase blooming time.
Plant Care:
Can be pinched before flowering (mid May) to encourage bushiness. Must have a well drained soil. Best to cut off spent flowers to encourage fall vegetative growth for vigor and to prevent seeding. Can divide every 2 or 3 years in Spring.
