Oddly named, since the flowers are more pink than purple. That aside, this variety has the largest flowers we have seen on an Ajuga. Nice as underplanting to shrubs or trees too. Glossy green leaves mature to bronze in the fall.

Ajuga with their lush waxy leaves and vibrant blooms resemble a colorful carpet spread across the landscape. Will adapt to a wide variety of conditions except extremely wet.

Ajuga Plant Care:

Spent flowers can be removed by mowing or using a string trimmer if desired. Divide if clumps become overcrowded. To divide, separate rooted stems or take root cuttings in early summer.
