New buds are silver, opening to wine pink, softening to a pleasing pale blush. Nice color range adds depth from a distance. Richard Nelson forms an upright clump with 2 foot stems and the flowers bloom atop grayish green fern like foliage. Yarrow always make an interesting display of color. A Bluestone selection.

Achillea General Information:

Achillea are perfect for that hard-to-grow spot in your garden. Tolerant of drought, wind and heat; these selections grow well in almost any soil type. Excellent fresh cut flowers or dried. Flowers from summer to early fall and blooms are irresistible to butterflies. They do spread, so give them room to fill in.

Achillea Plant Care:

Remove spent blossoms to promote continuous flowering. Plants can be cleaned up spring or fall. Leave any fresh fall foliage to overwinter. Likes a well drained soil. Divide in spring or fall every 4-5 years.
